We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the WG5 Communications Masterclass, taking place 24–28 August 2026 at the RSU Anatomy Museum and Rīga Stradiņš University, Riga.
This intensive, hands‑on workshop will guide participants through the full process of research communication—from audience understanding and narrative development to scriptwriting, filming, and editing—following the detailed agenda circulated to the network.
The Masterclass is designed for researchers across all Working Groups who wish to strengthen the visibility, clarity, and impact of their work. Participants will leave with a refined research narrative, practical media skills, and a short communication product developed during the week.
There are 10 places available, open to any member of GREATLEAP.
If more than 10 people express interest, selection will be based on the strength and suitability of participants’ research for dissemination, in line with the aims of the Masterclass.
To register your interest, please complete the form (link here) by 30th April 2026.
The programme includes:
Foundations of audience‑focused communication
Developing and refining a compelling research narrative
Scriptwriting workshops
Filming and on‑camera coaching
Editing sessions and peer feedback
Final presentation and showcase of outputs
