Are you presenting at an important international conference or would like to have a short research stay at a host institute, but lack the financial means to cover travel and accommodation costs?
Apply now for a grant if your research is in line with the following GREATLEAP objective: Your research uses sources/datasets of individual-level historical cause of death data that are analyzed using innovative analytical tools to understand inequalities in health.
Eligibility: – Registered as a GREATLEAP member; – Accepted as presenter at the conference or acceptance of the host institute; – Your institute is located in an ITC countryor you are a young scholar (<40 years); – There is no funding available from your own institute. – The conference or STSM takes place before 15 October 2025 and all expenses are claimed before 20 October 2025.
Funding Amount Up to (a maximum of) €1000 per grant is available, but please be aware there is a limited number of grants we can provide. Please therefore apply only for the total sum of your (1) expected travel and accomodation costs and (2) registration fee. If a selection needs to be made this will be done by taking into account which applications are most in line with the objectives of GREATLEAP and priority will be given to applicants who did not receive a grant before.
