Are you presenting at the European Society for Historical Demography Conference, but lack the financial means to cover travel and accommodation costs? Apply now for a Conference Grant!
Eligibility: – Registered as a GREATLEAP member; – Accepted as presenter at the ESHD Conference; – Your institute is located in an ITC countryor you are a young scholar (<40 years); – There is no funding available from your own institute to attend the conference. – You are not already receiving reimbursement to attend the ‘Workshop Sources and Databases on Causes of Death in Historical Societies (1800–1950)’ on 9 September 2025.
Funding Amount Up to (a maximum of) €1000 per grant is available, but please be aware there is a limited number of grants we can provide. Please therefore apply only for the total sum of your (1) expected travel and accomodation costs and (2) registration fee. If a selection needs to be made this will be done by taking into account which presentations are most in line with the objectives of GREATLEAP and priority will be given to applicants who did not receive a conference grant before.
